UPDATE: MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

Olivia Perkins included her e-mail address on the back of the Martin Luther quote she set off at night in her illuminated bottle into the Ohio River. She has received a response. Here is what the return message says:

Hi Olivia-

I was down on the banks of the Ohio River in Jeffersonville, IN racing a remote control speedboat with my kids when your bottle washed up. Although it was a little damp, the quote from Martin Luther King could be read clearly.

I want to thank you for putting such a beautiful message out into the world. My kids and I were so honored to have found it. I think we will keep it going, by putting another beautiful quote in the same bottle and sending it down the river.

Finding your message was my favorite part of the day, and reminded me BE THE LIGHT!

Thank you again.
